this the procedure to run FSCK when your system crash and couldn’t boot:
-Boot CDROM with Solaris CD
-press Stop + A then write “boot cdrom –s”
-wait for rebooting till Command Prompt Appear with #
-run FSCK “#fsck /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0″
(this depend what partition u created n what kinds of disk u installed)
U can list u disk by command : “#ls /dev/dsk”
-reboot again with “reboot — -r”
-testing!!
FSCK ada juga ya di SOlaris.. 😀 cuman pingin tanya, kehandalan Solaris sebagai sebuah server apaan ya (compared d almighty BSD 😛 )
Should’nt be an Raw Disk, instead of the simple device….
/dev/rdsk/disk####
